Installation and Maintenance:

For proper installation, apply silicone sealant to the hull or deck surface before mounting to ensure a watertight seal. Keep threads clean by washing regularly with hot soapy water to prevent salt buildup and ensure smooth operation. Lubricate threads periodically with petroleum jelly or Teflon-based lubricant to maintain easy opening and closing.

This deck plate provides convenient access to below-deck storage, battery compartments, or plumbing systems while keeping water out when secured. Ideal for sailboats, powerboats, and other marine applications requiring secure deck access points.
