The SeaStar Solutions SH5094-1P Safe-T QC is a single cable rotary steering helm designed for inboard, small outboard, and power-assisted stern drive boats up to 24 feet. This mechanical helm features dual quick-connect fittings on both the cable inlet and spent travel tube outlet, allowing for tool-free installation with a simple snap-in connection system.

  • Quick-connect feature on both sides allows for flexible mounting options including port side helm installation without adapters
  • No-tools-required installation with patented snap-in-place cable connection system
  • 3-turn lock-to-lock steering provides rapid response and precise control
  • Compact rotary design with standard 3/4-inch tapered steering shaft
  • Accepts steering wheels up to 16 inches in diameter
  • Cable secured with collet and hitch pin; spent travel tube held by conical plastic nut
  • Direct replacement for all SeaStar Safe-T helms made since 1968 with minimal dashboard modifications
  • Replaces older SH5094P and SH5023 models

  • Not compatible with rack and pinion steering or SSC72 series cables
  • For single station use only

This helm meets all ABYC and NMMA standards and certifications. The SH5094-1P is included in current SS137 series steering kits and provides reliable performance backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
