Product Details

The Seastar Solutions SSC6223 is a 23-foot quick connect rotary steering cable designed for marine applications. This replacement cable fits most Teleflex and SeaStar rotary steering systems from 1968 to present, making it a versatile solution for boat steering repairs and upgrades.

Key Features:

  • Quick connect design simplifies installation without requiring special tools
  • Replaces older SSC62 cables used in Safe-T QC and NFB systems
  • Also replaces SSC72 cables used in Safe-T "TS" and Big-T systems
  • Stainless steel output ends resist corrosion in saltwater environments
  • Tightly controlled core-to-conduit fit provides precise, responsive steering
  • Exceeds ABYC safety standards and ISO/IMCI/NMMA certification requirements
  • Compatible with Safe-T QC helms including SH5094-1P, SH4910P, SH91190P, SH91526P, SH91527P, and SH91523-1P

For connection to threaded-spigot helm systems, use SSC61 series cable assemblies or order adapter SA27620P separately. The durable HDPE outer jacket provides excellent abrasion resistance and water penetration protection for long-lasting performance in harsh marine conditions.
