Product Details

The Sierra 18-8922 is a precision-engineered water pump impeller designed as a direct OEM replacement for Nissan and Tohatsu outboard motors. It directly replaces OEM part number 3C8-65021-2 (also cross-referenced as 3C8-65021-2M, 3C8-65021-0, 3C8-65021-1, and 345-65021-1) and is a critical component in the engine's raw-water cooling system, circulating water to prevent overheating during operation.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement for OEM part 3C8-65021-2
  • 6-blade impeller design for reliable water flow and cooling efficiency
  • Outer diameter: 50 mm | Internal shaft hub diameter: 17 mm | Height/Thickness: 20 mm
  • Engineered to meet or exceed OEM performance standards in harsh marine environments
  • Also cross-references CEF part number 500379
  • Sold individually (1 impeller per package)

Regular impeller replacement is essential preventative maintenance for any outboard motor. A worn or damaged impeller can restrict coolant flow, leading to overheating and potential engine damage. The Sierra 18-8922 restores full cooling system performance and is designed for straightforward installation into the existing water pump housing without modification.

Compatible OEM Part Numbers: 3C8-65021-2, 3C8-65021-2M, 3C8-65021-0, 3C8-65021-1, 345-65021-1
