The TRUECharge2 is the next generation of the popular TRUECharge line and builds on a proven design and features. The evolution has made these chargers smaller and lighter and they can be installed in a greater number of positions, thanks to their drip-proof design. Designed for commercial and marine use, these chargers are highly versatile and offer a parallel stacking feature, allowing two chargers to work together to combine the output current. Ideal for large battery banks, this combined output can be as much as 120A. Xantrex uses power factor correction to deliver peak charging capacity using less or inconsistent AC power.
A microprocessor controls the three stage charging profile to extend battery life by adjusting charge rates to efficiently and safely charge batteries. Built-in protection against surges and spikes on the AC power line provides outstanding low electrical interference. Other safety features include battery overcharging, over-temperature, DC over-voltage and reverse polarity protections.
