How Smart Tabs Work:

The nitrogen gas actuator provides lift at the stern by holding the 12" x 9" trim plate down during acceleration. As boat speed increases, water pressure pushes up on the plates, minimizing bow rise and helping the boat plane quickly. Once water pressure exceeds the actuator's load rating, the plates move to a horizontal position to eliminate drag. The internal valve system dampens plate movement to provide smooth, undetectable reactions to changing conditions.
