Product Details

The Sierra 18-6150M is a magnesium sacrificial anode kit designed for MR and Alpha I MerCruiser sterndrive applications. Engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications, this kit provides reliable corrosion protection for your sterndrive's underwater metal components by sacrificing itself to galvanic corrosion before it can affect critical drive parts.

Key Features:

  • Material: High-purity magnesium construction — the preferred material for fresh water use
  • Application: Designed for MerCruiser MR and Alpha I sterndrive units
  • OEM Replacement: Replaces MerCruiser OEM part numbers 888756Q02, 888756Q4, and 888756A2
  • Complete Kit: Includes all necessary anodes and hardware for a full service replacement
  • Manufactured to meet or exceed OEM requirements for proper fit and performance

Important Note: Magnesium anodes are intended for fresh water use only. For salt water or brackish water environments, Sierra's aluminum anode kit (18-6150A) is recommended instead.

Sierra International is a leading manufacturer of high-quality aftermarket marine engine parts, offering boaters a dependable and cost-effective alternative to OEM components.
