Product Details

The Sierra 18-6159M is a magnesium anode kit designed for MerCruiser Bravo I stern drives, covering all model years. Magnesium anodes are the most electrochemically active anode material available, making this kit the correct choice for freshwater use only. By sacrificing themselves through galvanic corrosion, these anodes protect your stern drive's metal components — including the drive housing, bearing carrier, and trim tab — from deterioration caused by electrolysis.

Key Features:

  • High-quality magnesium construction for maximum corrosion protection in freshwater environments
  • Direct replacement for MerCruiser Bravo I stern drives — all years
  • Mounting hardware included for complete installation
  • Interchangeable with OEM MerCruiser part numbers: 888757A1, 888757Q01, and 97-888757Q02
  • Manufactured by Sierra International to meet or exceed OEM specifications

Important: Magnesium anodes are formulated exclusively for freshwater applications. Do not use in saltwater or brackish water — use Sierra's aluminum or zinc anode kits for those environments.

Sierra International is a trusted supplier of aftermarket marine engine components and accessories. The 18-6159M replaces worn or depleted anodes quickly and reliably, helping extend the service life of your MerCruiser Bravo I drivetrain.

The proof is in the pudding. I await your follow through.

Wow, what a deal. Great price on the product and shipping. What else can I order from these guys? They'll be my first stop.

I made some mistakes trying to sign on, but you took care of that so that I would'n miss out on a good deal.

Quick and easy

Quick and Easy

I ordered a WeatherTech cargo liner from Autoplicity after finding the product almost $40 cheaper than anywhere else. Usually I'm suspect of the one company with a very low price but the high number of reviews gave me enough comfort to order. The product came in a large box and was shipped for a very reasonable price and arrived in four business days. The product is as described and I couldn't be happier. I will definately keep them in mind for future orders.

Lowest price online, just need to look out for shipping charges on certain items!

Extremly fast shipping - Ordered and shipped in less than 12 hours. Cheapest prices I could find after thorough searching. They beat the guys with free shipping.
