The SeaStar Solutions SSX17711 is a complete Xtreme NFB (No Feedback) Tilt Rotary Steering Kit with an 11-foot cable, engineered to deliver the most efficient mechanical steering available in the marine market. Designed and assembled in the USA, this kit provides the smoothest and lowest steering effort of any mechanical helm available, while maintaining an exceptionally compact footprint ideal for tight or small dash helm stations.

The kit's No-Feedback (NFB) technology is built directly into the helm and locks out steering loads caused by propeller torque. Propeller rotation naturally feeds steering load back through the cable and into the helm, creating unwanted pull and increased steering effort. The NFB clutch eliminates this effect, resulting in minimal lost motion at the steering wheel and superior holding power—making the boat easier and safer to control.

The Sport Tilt Mechanism (SH91800B) offers 48 degrees of tilt across 5 adjustment positions, accommodating a wide range of operator heights and driving preferences. Installation is simplified with a quick connect feature on both the steering cable and spent travel tube—no tools required to snap either component into place. The helm mounts in the same pattern and bracket location as most existing SeaStar Solutions rotary tilt steering systems, allowing for a direct upgrade with little to no dash modification.
