Seastar Solutions Xtreme NFB Tilt Rotary Steering Kit

The Seastar Solutions Xtreme NFB Tilt Rotary Steering Kit is a complete mechanical boat steering system. It combines a no-feedback (NFB) rotary helm, a tilt mechanism and an Xtreme quick-connect steering cable. It is designed for smooth, low-effort steering in a compact package that suits small or tight dash stations.

Key Features:

• No FeedBack (NFB) technology: The improved NFB clutch locks out steering loads. It gives a smoother release and reduces the effects of engine torque and backlash.
• Tilt helm: The Sport Tilt mechanism offers 48 degrees of tilt with 5 positive-lock positions. This lets you steer comfortably whether seated or standing.
• Xtreme steering cable: Splined ridges on the inner liner reduce internal friction. The tighter fit limits lost motion and helps extend cable life.
• High-efficiency helm: The helm has high-efficiency gearing and a compact Zamac housing. This reduces weight, adds strength and lowers effort at the wheel.
• Quick-connect installation: The steering cable and spent travel tube both have quick-connect features. The kit installs in the same mounting pattern and bracket location as most current Seastar Solutions rotary steering systems, usually with little to no dash modification.
• Standard shaft: The helm has a 3/4-inch tapered keyed steering shaft and a 4.2-turn lock-to-lock design.
• Made in the USA: Seastar Solutions designs and assembles the kit in the USA.

What's Included: Each kit contains an Xtreme NFB tilt helm, a Sport Tilt mechanism, an Xtreme QC steering cable, and hardware and instruction sheets.

The kit is suited to most single-station boats with a single non-power-assisted outboard engine (up to V-6) that have minimal engine flutter or steering instability. Xtreme cables are designed to work only with Xtreme helms. Seastar Solutions steering cables meet ABYC safety standards and ISO/IMCI/NMMA certification.
