Sierra 18-6161M Magnesium Anode Kit for Suzuki 90-140HP Outboard Engines

The Sierra 18-6161M Magnesium Anode Kit is a complete sacrificial anode replacement kit engineered for Suzuki 90–140HP outboard engines. Designed to protect your engine and lower unit from galvanic corrosion, this kit provides reliable, OEM-equivalent cathodic protection to extend the life of critical underwater metal components.

Magnesium anodes are specifically formulated for fresh water use. Magnesium's electrochemical properties make it the correct anode material for freshwater environments, where zinc anodes would be too passive to offer adequate protection. For saltwater use, zinc is recommended; for brackish or mixed-water conditions, aluminum anodes are the preferred choice.

Key Features:

• Designed for Suzuki 90–140HP outboard engines
• Magnesium construction — optimized for freshwater applications only
• Includes all mounting hardware for straightforward installation
• Trim tab anode type included in kit
• Manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications
• Interchangeable with CMP CMSZ90140KITM and Tecnoseal 20909MG
• UPC: 808282370305

Sierra's marine anode kits are a trusted aftermarket solution for boaters who demand quality corrosion protection. Replacing sacrificial anodes at regular service intervals helps prevent pitting and deterioration of your outboard's lower unit, cavitation plate, and other submerged hardware.
