Megaware KeelGuard 21108 Boat Keel Protector Yellow - 8ft

The Megaware KeelGuard 21108 is an 8-foot, yellow DIY keel protector designed to shield the leading edge of your boat's hull from the abrasive damage caused by sand, rocks, concrete ramps, and oyster beds. Protecting your keel is critical — wear and damage to the keel can break down the gelcoat finish, allowing water to penetrate and destroy the underlying fiberglass laminates.

Patented Engineering with 3M Technology:

• Abrasion-resistant polymer composite — crafted from a precise blend of polymers and urethanes for optimal durability and pliability
• 3M pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive — permanently bonds and seals the KeelGuard's contoured edges directly to the hull surface, eliminating the need for messy sealants
• Hydrodynamic drag-reduction channels — angled grooves create air pockets for a slicker surface, ensuring no loss of speed or performance
• UV-stabilized yellow color — resists fading for lasting color throughout the life of the product
• 5 inches wide — fits boats up to 22 feet in length

Complete DIY Install Kit Included:

• KeelGuard strip (8 ft)
• Scotch-Brite pad for surface etching

Backed by a lifetime warranty against abrasive wear and adhesion failure during normal use, for as long as you own your boat. Made in the USA.
