Megaware KeelGuard 20608 Keel Protector Light - 8ft Gray DIY Hull Guard

The Megaware KeelGuard 20608 is an 8-foot, do-it-yourself keel protector designed to shield your boat's hull from the abrasive damage caused by sand, rocks, concrete ramps, and oyster beds. Without protection, repeated contact can break down the gelcoat finish on your keel, allowing water to penetrate and degrade the fiberglass laminates beneath — leading to costly repairs. The KeelGuard is engineered to stop that damage before it starts.

Key Features:

• 8-foot length — suitable for boats up to 22 feet
• 5-inch width with contoured, self-sealing edges for a clean, flush fit
• Abrasion-resistant polymer and urethane blend for maximum durability and pliability
• 3M acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive permanently bonds and seals edges to the hull surface
• Hydrodynamic drag-reduction channels — angled grooves create air pockets for a slicker surface without slowing your boat
• Light Gray color, UV-stabilized to resist fading over time
• Made in the USA
• Lifetime warranty against abrasive wear and adhesion failure for as long as you own your boat
