Siren Marine was founded in 2011 in Newport, Rhode Island, with a simple but transformative idea: boats should be able to communicate with their owners, even when no one is aboard. The concept grew out of founder Captain Daniel Harper's firsthand understanding that most serious problems on boats begin as small, detectable issues — Harper recognized that significant problems on boats start small, and his solution was to develop a cellular-based device connected to the boat's bilge and battery that would alert him onshore if a critical event occurred. That early prototype evolved into one of the most respected names in marine IoT technology.

The Siren 3 Pro: A New Standard for Smart Boat Systems

At the heart of the Siren Marine ecosystem is the flagship Siren 3 Pro. The Siren 3 Pro is a third-generation remote boat monitoring and telematics platform that operates over a global 4G/5G LTE cellular network, with the option to add SirenSat — an offshore antenna for customers who venture beyond cellular coverage. The Siren 3 Pro enables boaters to remotely monitor their boat's location, engine, bilge, battery, and more, while also allowing them to control lights, A/C, and other systems with the touch of a button.

The newest addition to the lineup, the Siren 3, brings this technology to a broader audience. Designed to complement small to mid-sized, outboard-powered boats, pontoons, deck boats, and bass boats, Siren 3 brings Connected Boat® technology to a new group of boaters. Siren 3 supports up to six Siren wireless sensors through SirenWAVE™, a proprietary communication protocol that delivers a fast, reliable, and secure connection between the device and its sensors.

The Siren 3 supports up to 6 wireless sensors with up to 5 inputs and 1 output, while the Siren 3 Pro supports up to 16 wireless sensors with up to 11 inputs and up to 4 outputs — making the system highly scalable for boats of virtually any size or complexity.
