The Super Soft® Legacy

In the early 1960s, TRC Recreation introduced the SUPER-SOFT brand name, which has since become recognized worldwide as a leader in vinyl-coated recreational products. The company's groundbreaking achievements include developing the world's first Coast Guard-approved wrap-around water ski vest made of vinyl-covered closed-cell foam in 1967. This was followed by the invention of the external strap ski vests, which received Coast Guard approval in the very first year that TYPE III Coast Guard Approvals were permitted.
