The Furuno NAVPILOT 300/PG-S is a full-featured adaptive autopilot system designed for serious mariners and fishing enthusiasts. This package includes the FAP-3011 Control Unit with a vivid 4.1" Color LCD display, FAP-3012 Processor Unit, GC-001 Gesture Controller, PG700 Fluxgate Compass Heading Sensor, and a 1.0-liter Octopus hydraulic pump for single-cylinder steering systems (compatible with ram sizes 7–12 cubic inches). Powered at 12V, the NAVPILOT 300/PG-S delivers precise course control from slow trolling speeds to well over 60 knots.
Fantum Feedback Technology
The NAVPILOT 300 features Furuno's exclusive Fantum Feedback technology, which eliminates the need for a physical rudder feedback unit on outboard and sterndrive installations. This results in a streamlined, simplified installation without sacrificing steering precision. Fantum Feedback is optimized for planing and semi-displacement outboard vessels from 24 to 50 feet with one to four outboard engines.
Gesture Controller — Point and Steer
The included GC-001 Gesture Controller uses Bluetooth to allow remote autopilot control from anywhere on the boat within 10 meters. Simply press and hold the button, point toward the desired heading, and release — the NavPilot does the rest. No wires, no extra hardware at the helm required.
SABIKI™ Mode for Fishing
SABIKI™ mode allows the autopilot to maintain heading while drifting astern, compensating for wind and tide automatically. This mode is purpose-built for Sabiki fishing, jigging, and bottom fishing — keeping the boat on course so the angler can focus entirely on fishing.
FishHunter Mode — Automated Fishing Maneuvers
The FishHunter mode integrates with Furuno sonar/sounder and radar systems to perform automated maneuvers around a fish or bird target at a user-selected distance. Available maneuvers include:
- Zig-Zag
- Orbit
- Figure-8
- Spiral
- Square
- Circle
FishHunter mode can also be activated for Man Overboard (MOB) response maneuvers.
PG700 Fluxgate Compass
The included PG700 Heading Sensor features magnetic field distortion correction, delivering highly accurate and stable heading data to the autopilot system for reliable course-keeping in varying conditions.
