The Kop-Coat 6627QT Tie Coat Primer is a versatile chlorinated rubber primer designed for marine applications both above and below the waterline. This general-purpose primer serves dual functions as a metal surface primer and as a tie coat between different coating systems, making it an essential product for boat maintenance and restoration projects.

When used over Pettit 6455/044 Metal Primer, the 6627 Tie Coat Primer creates an excellent two-part system for all underwater metal components. Thin with Pettit 97 Epoxy Thinner as needed for spray application. This quart size is ideal for smaller projects and touch-up work.
