The Pacer Performance W12/2DC-500 is a 500-foot spool of 12/2 AWG duplex marine boat cable in color-coded red and black. Engineered for reliability in demanding marine environments, this two-conductor duplex wire is well-suited for low-voltage AC applications and DC circuits aboard boats, watercraft, and powersports equipment. Manufactured in-house in the USA, every foot of this cable is built to deliver consistent quality and long-term performance.

At its core, the cable uses Type III annealed, finely stranded tinned copper conductors conforming to ASTM B172 Class K. The tin coating on each conductor provides excellent corrosion resistance—critical in saltwater and high-humidity environments—while the fine stranding ensures superior flexibility for routing through tight spaces and around bends.

The color-coded PVC insulation and extruded outer jacket work together to seal out moisture, fuel, and contaminants. During the extrusion process, all voids between the inner conductors are completely filled, leaving no pathways for air or moisture intrusion. A talcum powder coating on the inner wires makes jacket removal clean and easy when terminating connections.
