Shields Hose 16-272-4000 Silicone Single Hump Coupler for Marine Wet Exhaust

The Shields Marine 16-272-4000 silicone single hump coupler is engineered to provide superior angular and longitudinal vibration absorption in marine wet exhaust systems. This flexible coupler effectively corrects slight offsets between pipes while accommodating movement caused by engine vibration and thermal expansion.

Key Features:

• Blue silicone construction with smooth finish for easy cleaning and maintenance
• Single hump design allows for angular misalignment and vibration dampening
• Excellent resistance to exhaust fumes, ozone, mild chemicals, antifreeze, and salt water
• High temperature rating suitable for wet exhaust applications
• Durable reinforced construction for long service life in harsh marine environments
• 4-inch diameter connection size

Ideal for connecting exhaust components in inboard and sterndrive applications, this coupler provides the flexibility needed to protect rigid exhaust components from stress and premature failure. The premium silicone material maintains its flexibility and sealing properties even after extended exposure to the demanding conditions of marine exhaust systems.
