About ShuttleSlide
If you've ever wrestled a trolling motor over a bow roller, struggled to fit a boat cover around a fixed bracket, or cringed watching your motor hang precariously over the hull on the trailer, ShuttleSlide was built for you. Based in Roseland, Florida, ShuttleSlide set out to solve a problem that every serious angler knows: static trolling motor mounts leave your motor — and your boat — exposed.
ShuttleSlide's Trolling Motor Parts & Accessories are anchored by their innovative automatic retracting linear mounting system. The goal at ShuttleSlide is to maximize the usability and safety of customers' equipment by providing the only automatic retracting, rugged, reliable, and versatile linear trolling motor mounting system that allows the positioning of the trolling motor where it is needed, when it is needed. Once the rail is secured to your deck, the trolling motor can be positioned anywhere along the rail, or rotated into position as needed, at any time.
Engineering That Sets ShuttleSlide Apart
Most competitors rely on conventional roller bearings — components that corrode, collect grime, and eventually seize up in a saltwater environment. ShuttleSlide took a fundamentally different approach. Since the ShuttleSlide design avoided the use of traditional roller bearings, ShuttleSlide products offer a simple and effective means of positioning devices while also being impervious to the environment around them — self-lubricating, self-cleaning, and self-clearing of any debris, making the system a maintenance-free solution that just works.
CNC machined from 0.25" and 0.50" thick 6061-T6 plate, the linear mounting system comes with a lifetime warranty. Models are available in multiple retraction lengths to suit different hull geometries, and only ShuttleSlide mounts are fully adjustable in a linear or non-linear fashion to change the required force to move anywhere along the entire path — a feature that also allows for wear over time and can help prevent damage to your motor or boat if you encounter an object such as a dock or other vessel while extended.
Broad Compatibility, Simple Installation
Utilizing a sliding bracket or rotating assembly backed by a Lifetime Warranty, ShuttleSlide's quick-release retractable mounting systems provide the flexibility to mount Minn Kota, Rhodan, Motorguide, Garmin, Power Pole, and Lowrance trolling motors in the best possible position on deck while also allowing the motor to move fully inside the boundary of the hull to prevent damage or interference with trailer bow rollers, boat covers, docks, and other boats.
For boaters upgrading from an older setup, ShuttleSlide's range of Fishing Parts & Accessories — including adapter plates like the DPA-1 and TMA-1 — means you often won't need to drill new holes in your deck. The TMA-1 adapter plate allows you to use any non-Quest trolling motor in conjunction with any ShuttleSlide mount and is typically used when the hole pattern on your trolling motor is not the same as a Minn Kota Terrova, Rhodan, or MotorGuide Xi5, letting your motor operate exactly as it was originally designed while adding the retractable features of ShuttleSlide mounts.
