Pacer Performance BHW3/4-12RD-3 Heavy Wall Heat Shrink Tubing 3/4" x 12" Red 3-Pack

Pacer Performance heavy wall heat shrink tubing provides professional-grade cable protection and strain relief for battery cables and electrical connections in demanding automotive, marine, and powersports applications. This 3/4-inch diameter tubing comes in a convenient 3-piece pack, each piece measuring 12 inches in length.

Advanced Dual-Layer Construction:

The tubing features a thick, heavy-wall outer layer for superior mechanical protection, combined with an internal thermoplastic adhesive liner that flows and encapsulates connections when heated. Upon cooling, this dual-layer system creates both a strong mechanical bond and a moisture-resistant seal that protects against corrosion, contaminants, and environmental exposure.

Key Features:

• Heavy-wall construction offers exceptional abrasion and impact resistance
• Activates at 120°C (248°F) for easy installation with standard heat gun
• Internal adhesive liner bonds to PVC, neoprene, polyolefin, EPR, steel, and aluminum
• Creates waterproof seal suitable for direct burial and submersible applications
• Excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, fuel, oil, and solvents
• Bright red color for easy identification of positive battery cables
• MIL-I-23053/15 Class 2 compliant for military-grade reliability

Common Applications:

• Battery cable termination and protection
• Electrical splice sealing and insulation
• Cable jacket repair and reinforcement
• Strain relief at connector points
• Marine and underwater electrical connections

When selecting tubing size, consider the diameter of your cable plus any terminals or connectors that need to be covered. The 3/4-inch diameter is ideal for large gauge battery cables and heavy-duty electrical connections requiring maximum protection.
