Pacer Performance Heavy Wall Heat Shrink Tubing

Pacer Performance Heavy Wall Heat Shrink Tubing is adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing for battery cables and other heavy-duty electrical connections. The thick wall gives strong insulation, abrasion resistance and strain relief. It is a good fit for sealing splices and protecting terminals and cable ends on marine, automotive, RV and powersports wiring.

The inside of the tubing has a dual-purpose thermoplastic liner. When heated, the liner flows and encapsulates the connection. After it cools, it bonds like a strong adhesive and protects against corrosion like a high-quality mastic.

Key Features:

• Heavy wall construction that resists abrasion and impact
• Easy installation: shrinks when heated above 120 °C
• Thermoplastic liner adheres to PVC, neoprene, polyolefin, EPR, steel and aluminum
• Adhesive lining seals out contaminants and gives environmental protection in harsh conditions
• Excellent resistance to acids and alkalis
• Good resistance to fuel, oil and solvents
• Meets MIL-I-23053/15 Class 2

Applications:

• Splice sealing
• Primary insulation
• Cable and jacket repair
• Direct burial and submersible use
• Strain relief

Insulation thickness varies between wire types, so you may need different tubing diameters. When you pick a size, allow for any connectors or components the tubing has to cover.
