What Are Quick Links and Lap Links?
Quick links and lap links are among the most versatile and hardworking pieces of small hardware you can keep on a boat, racecar, or trailer. Quick & Lap Links are compact metal connectors used to join two lengths of chain, attach accessories to chain, or connect chain to rings, snaps, eyelets, and other hardware — all without requiring special tools.
Quick links, also known as rapid links or maillon rapides, feature a threaded sleeve or screw gate that opens to allow attachment and closes to secure the connection. Always confirm the working load limit (WLL) of any link before use and never exceed it.
