Wichard 1205W Self-Locking D Shackle 10mm 13/32" Grade 316L Stainless Steel

The Wichard 1205W Self-Locking D Shackle is a premium marine-grade shackle designed for reliable, secure connections in demanding sailing and marine applications. Forged from grade 316L stainless steel and passivated for superior corrosion resistance, this 10mm (13/32") D shackle delivers outstanding strength with a safe working load of 4,190 lbs.

What sets this shackle apart is its innovative self-locking pin design. The pin head seats into one of several small indentations machined into the shackle body, preventing accidental loosening or backing out due to vibration — a critical safety feature for rigging, blocks, and attachment points at sea. The pin requires only a half-turn to open or close and can be operated with one hand, making quick adjustments practical even under load conditions.
