Wichard Self-Locking D Shackle Grade Stainless Steel Shackles

Wichard self-locking D shackles are forged from 316L stainless steel for marine rigging and general attachment work. Use them wherever you need a strong, corrosion-resistant connection between two components, such as blocks, sail heads and other rigging points. The self-locking pin (also called a captive or screw pin) keeps the shackle closed in service.

Key Features:

• Forged 316L stainless steel: resists corrosion in marine, industrial and other aggressive environments.
• Self-locking pin: the pin locks into one of the indentations in the shackle body, so vibration will not loosen it.
• Strong and durable: forging gives high working and breaking loads and good fatigue resistance.
• CE marked: Wichard markets the line with CE marking. The working load limit (WLL) rating applies to industrial applications such as lifting.

Wichard is a French maker of stainless steel marine and rigging hardware. These D shackles suit sailboats, powerboats and general rigging. Check the specifications of each size for its load ratings and dimensions.
