Wichard 1264W Self-Locking Large Opening Shackle 8mm 5/16" 316L Stainless Steel

The Wichard 1264W Self-Locking Large Opening Shackle is a premium marine-grade shackle forged from grade 316L stainless steel, purpose-built for applications where a wide-opening shackle is required. Designed and engineered for reliability in demanding marine and industrial environments, this 8mm (5/16") shackle delivers outstanding strength and corrosion resistance.

Key Features:

• Self-locking pin design — precision indentations in the shackle body engage the pin head to prevent accidental loosening due to vibration
• Large opening design — ideal for applications requiring attachment of multiple lines, cables, or oversized hardware
• Drop-forged grade 316L stainless steel construction for maximum strength and superior corrosion resistance in saltwater environments
• Outstanding working and breaking loads — safety factor of 5:1 (WLL = breaking load ÷ 5); WLL rated for industrial/lifting applications
• CE marked with batch number stamped into the shackle body for traceability and quality assurance
• 8mm (5/16") pin diameter

The Wichard 1264W is the trusted choice for sailors, riggers, and marine professionals who demand safety and performance. The patented self-locking mechanism ensures the pin stays securely seated even under continuous vibration, making it ideal for rigging, anchoring, and other critical marine connections.
