Wichard Self-Locking Large Opening Shackle Stainless Steel Shackles

The Wichard Self-Locking Large Opening Shackle is a forged stainless steel shackle, also called a wide jaw shackle or large bow shackle. It suits rigging jobs that need a wider jaw than a standard shackle gives you. Typical uses include attaching blocks, sail heads and other fittings.

Key Features:

• Self-locking pin: The shackle body is elastic, so the pin head seats in one of several small indentations. This helps keep the pin from backing out in vibration.
• Forged 316L stainless steel: The corrosion-resistant grade is made for marine and other demanding environments.
• Large opening design: The wide jaw makes it easier to connect larger fittings, blocks and attachment points.
• High working and breaking loads: The loads are strong for the shackle's size and weight.
• CE marked: The industrial working load limit (WLL) rating applies to industrial lifting use only. Each size has its own load ratings.

Wichard is known for precision-forged marine and rigging hardware. This line gives sailors, boaters and riggers a dependable shackle that stays secure under load and vibration. Choose the pin diameter you need from the available options.
