The OMC 5008585 is a genuine OEM fuel hose and primer bulb assembly designed for Johnson, Evinrude, and OMC outboard motors. This complete assembly includes a 10-foot length of 3/8-inch inner diameter fuel hose, an integrated primer bulb, and clamps — everything needed for a direct OEM replacement of the fuel delivery line between the portable fuel tank and the outboard engine.
The primer bulb is located inline within the fuel line and is used to manually prime the carburetor with fuel before a cold start. Squeezing the bulb creates suction that draws fuel from the tank through the line and into the engine, ensuring reliable starts. The bulb features a one-way valve design that allows priming in multiple orientations without restricting fuel flow.
