Raymarine Actuator Control Unit for Evolution Autopilot Electrical Parts & Accessories

The Raymarine Actuator Control Unit (ACU) is a core component of the Evolution autopilot system. It is also called an autopilot control unit or autopilot computer. The ACU houses the main power and drive electronics. It connects directly to your vessel's steering system and its DC electrical source. It sits between the autopilot electronics and the boat's steering drive, and it handles the electrical load for the drive unit.

Key Features:

• Delivers drive power and control to the steering drive for reliable autopilot performance
• Connects to the SeaTalk ng network, so it can share data with other Evolution components and compatible peripherals
• Offers connections for the drive, rudder reference sensor and power, depending on the model
• Available in models matched to different steering and drive types, including hydraulic, mechanical linear and rotary mechanical drives
• Built for marine use as part of a Raymarine Evolution autopilot system

To build a complete autopilot system, pair the ACU with an Evolution EV-1 sensor core, a compatible autopilot control head and a compatible Raymarine drive unit. Choose the ACU model that matches your steering type, drive type and vessel electrical system. This gives you accurate steering control for both new installations and replacements.
