Wichard Self-Locking D Shackle Stainless Steel Shackles

Wichard self-locking D shackles are forged from 316L stainless steel. They are made for secure, long-lasting connections in marine, rigging and industrial use. Each shackle has a self-locking pin that seats in one of the indentations in the shackle body. This keeps the pin from backing out when the shackle is exposed to vibration. These stainless steel D shackles are also called self-locking shackles or captive pin shackles.

Key Features:

• Forged 316L stainless steel construction for strong working and breaking loads
• Self-locking pin that locks into an indentation, so it does not loosen from vibration
• Fatigue and corrosion resistance for marine, industrial and other aggressive environments
• CE marking on the shackles, with batch number identification
• Standard D shackle shape for general-purpose connections

Applications:

• Standard shackle connections
• Attachment points for blocks, sail heads and other rigging hardware
• Connecting two or more components in marine and industrial settings

Working load limit (WLL) ratings apply to industrial and lifting applications only. Check the load ratings for the specific size you choose.
