Seastar Solutions Back Mount Rack Steering System Cable

The Seastar Solutions Back Mount Rack Steering Cable is a mechanical rack and pinion steering cable for single-station boats. It is also sold as a back mount rack replacement steering cable. It works with Seastar Solutions and Teleflex "The Rack" back mount steering systems, and it installs from behind the dash.

Key Features:

• Rack and pinion design suits a range of helm space and application requirements
• Stainless steel cable output ends resist corrosion and add durability
• Meets ABYC safety standards and ISO/IMCI/NMMA certification requirements
• Single station, single cable use only
• Back mount helm compatibility: the SSC134xx cable is required for Seastar back mount rack helms
• Replacement cable: replaces 1996-and-newer Seastar Solutions/Teleflex "The Rack" back mount and single cable NFB rack steering cables, which have a black cable cover
• Made in the U.S.A. at Seastar Solutions' facility in Limerick, Pennsylvania

The cable is part of the Seastar Back Mount Rack steering system. That system is designed for power-assisted sterndrive and outboard applications and gives four turns lock-to-lock. Seastar Solutions was formerly Teleflex Marine, and the brand is known for marine steering and control products.
