Groco Bronze Pipe Nipple Check Valve

The Groco Bronze Pipe Nipple Check Valve is a one-way nipple check valve (also called a bronze check nipple or spring check valve) for marine plumbing systems. It threads straight into a female NPT port. That lets you add backflow protection to a line without extra fittings or a separate in-line valve body.

Key Features:

• C83600 cast bronze construction for durability and corrosion resistance in marine environments
• NPT threaded male ends for a standard pipe-thread connection
• Spring-loaded, ball-type check design that allows flow in one direction and blocks reverse flow
• Compact nipple-style body that fits into tight spaces
• Flow direction is easy to identify, and color-coded wire ties help ensure correct installation (flow runs from the green side to the red side)
• Maximum recommended temperature of 176°F (80°C)

Important: Not suitable for use with diesel fuel or gasoline.

Groco is a well-known name in marine plumbing, with raw water strainers, seacocks, thru-hull fittings and related hardware. This check valve is a dependable choice for raw water, bilge and other general onboard plumbing applications.
