Product Details

The Groco PNC-1000 is a cast bronze pipe nipple with an integrated internal check valve designed for marine plumbing applications. This unique fitting combines the function of a standard pipe nipple with a check valve that prevents backflow while imposing virtually zero flow restriction during normal operation.

Key Features:

  • High-quality cast bronze construction for corrosion resistance
  • Internal check valve requires less than 1/2 PSI to open
  • Minimal flow restriction for efficient system performance
  • Colored band indicators show flow direction (green to red)
  • 1 inch NPT threaded connections
  • Compact design saves space compared to separate check valves

Important: Not approved for use with diesel fuel, gasoline, or potable water systems. Suitable for raw water, waste water, and other marine plumbing applications where backflow prevention is required.
