Groco Bronze Strainer with Plastic Basket Sea Strainers

The Groco bronze sea strainer with plastic basket protects your boat's raw water systems by filtering debris out of the water before it reaches the pump, engine, air conditioning or other seawater-cooled equipment. Marine-grade bronze construction holds up to the demands of saltwater use. The strainer is a dependable inline raw water filter for sailboats and powerboats.

Key Features:

• Bronze body: Corrosion-resistant marine bronze is built for long service in saltwater.
• Plastic strainer basket: The non-corroding basket traps weed, sand and other debris while allowing good water flow.
• Clear visibility: The transparent bowl lets you check the basket for debris at a glance.
• Easy maintenance: The basket can be removed and cleaned without tools, so routine checks are quick.
• Protects equipment: Keeping debris out helps prevent clogged heat exchangers, worn impellers and overheating.

Groco has made marine plumbing and seacocks for decades. This sea strainer line is a good choice for new installations and for replacing an existing raw water strainer. Several configurations are available, so you can match the strainer to your system.
