Groco ARG Series Raw Water Strainers are for filtration of cooling water intakes on marine engines or gensets. They are long lasting and easy to service and are designed with a one-piece molded sight glass to eliminate inconvenient tie rods and gaskets. The mounting system allows for easy removal without the use of tools. The o-rings seal all joining surfaces to ensure the strainer works to its best potential. In addition, ARG Raw Water Strainers are constructed with a non-metallic magnifying strainer cap to magnify internal viewing to ensure easy inspection. ARG Raw Water Strainers have cast bronze heads, and the option of stainless steel, Monel® basket, and non-metalic baskets, and are available in 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2" and 3" sizes.
