Egis Mobile Electric Surface Mount Circuit Breaker DC

The Egis Mobile Electric Surface Mount Circuit Breaker DC line (4704 / 87 Series) is a switchable DC circuit breaker. It protects wiring from short circuits and over-current loads, and it also works as a manual on/off switch. These breakers suit marine, automotive, and other mobile electrical systems that need a sealed, rugged circuit protection device.

Key Features:

• Dual function: Automatic circuit protection and manual on/off switching in one compact unit.
• 48 VDC rating: Supports 12 and 24 VDC systems, and gives added protection for 36 and 48 VDC systems.
• Sealed, weatherproof housing: IP66 rated against dust and water intrusion.
• Visual trip indication: A bright yellow paddle shows when the circuit has opened. The same paddle resets the breaker to On.
• Harsh-environment construction: Stainless steel, self-locking hardware and high-temperature materials suit engine compartment use.
• Ignition protected: Designed for installation in closed compartments where explosive gases may be present.
• High interrupt capacity: Built to meet SAE J553 and ABYC E-11 interrupt requirements. It can protect circuits connected to large paralleled battery banks.
• Easy surface mounting: Mounts next to battery systems. It also lets you isolate a circuit for maintenance.
• Warranty: Backed by a 4-year manufacturer warranty.

Pick the variant with the amperage rating your circuit needs. Each one gives dependable, resettable protection without replacing fuses.
