About Boat Bling & Bling Sauce

What began as an idea scrawled on a cocktail napkin over Mexican food has grown into one of the most trusted names in marine and vehicle care. Boat Bling—now rebranded as Bling Sauce—was founded in 2004 by two passionate boaters who set out with a clear goal: give the most discerning enthusiasts a simple, spray-on, wipe-off line of care products that delivers world-class results in less time than anything else on the market.

The company's early days actually started with precision-machined aircraft aluminum engine covers for Mercruiser engines—a beautiful but narrow niche. Recognizing the need for a more universally useful product, the founders pivoted to cleaning formulas, and the iconic "Sauce" line was born. Today, Bling Sauce products are available at tens of thousands of retail locations in multiple countries, recommended by leading OEM vinyl manufacturers, and trusted by boat builders, RV owners, auto enthusiasts, and powersports riders alike.

A Philosophy Built on Simplicity and Results

The Bling Sauce approach has always been to eliminate complexity without sacrificing performance. Rather than asking customers to juggle a cabinet full of single-purpose products, their formulas are engineered to do more with less. The flagship Hot Sauce spray detailer, for example, cuts through hard water spots and road grime while simultaneously reinforcing your existing wax coat—no stripping, no buffing, no elbow grease required.

That same philosophy carries through the entire lineup. Their Specialty Cleaners address some of the toughest challenges on the water—hard water deposits, non-skid deck grime, and electronics screen care—with targeted formulas that are safe on sensitive surfaces. For those who want a true one-and-done solution, the brand's One Step Cleaner/Waxes combine cleaning power with a protective polymer coating, cutting detailing time dramatically without cutting corners on protection.

Interior care is equally well thought-out. Vinyl Sauce, one of the brand's most beloved products, is actually recommended by leading OEM vinyl manufacturers for removing sunscreen, body oils, food stains, and grime from marine upholstery. It's just one of several options in the Carpet, Vinyl & Upholstery Products category, which extends to leather, rubber, carpet, and faux leather surfaces commonly found on boats, RVs, and UTVs.

Rounding out the lineup, the brand offers purpose-built Boat Soap formulated specifically for marine and RV applications—gentler than household detergents yet tough enough to lift the stubborn residues that come with life on the water. For those looking to restore or maintain their gel coat's shine, the brand's Waxes & Polishes deliver a show-quality finish without the labor of traditional paste waxes.

From Marine Roots to Multi-Industry Excellence

In 2020, the Boat Bling brand officially evolved into Bling Sauce to reflect its expansion beyond the marine world into automotive, RV, UTV, and even aviation segments. The Bling Sauce Platinum line introduced advanced ceramic and polymer technologies for the automotive care market. Yet despite this growth, the company's roots remain firmly in the boating world—and that heritage of marine-grade formulation quality continues to set the standard across every product category they enter.
