The adhesive inner wall creates a complete environmental seal once crimped and heated, locking out moisture, salt spray, and contaminants. The clear tubing also allows for visual wire inspection after the connection is made — a thoughtful detail that simplifies post-installation verification. A "Step Down" variant is also available, designed specifically for connecting different wire gauges.
- Brazed Non-Insulated Butt Connectors: For applications requiring a high-current, bare-metal connection, these connectors use a tin-plated brazed seam tube construction. The brazed seam resists splitting under crimping pressure, producing a stronger, more uniform barrel than standard rolled connectors. Available in a wide range of AWG sizes from #22-18 up through #2 AWG.
