The Wooster Brush Company has been setting the standard for professional paint applicators since 1851 — making it one of the oldest and most respected paint tool manufacturers in the United States. The company's founder, Adam Foss, traveled from Pennsylvania to Ohio to set up shop, where he began producing handmade bristle paint brushes in a small, two-story building in Wooster and sold them door-to-door throughout the state. Today, the company still operates just blocks from where Foss produced those first brushes.
