Product Details

The Camp Zinc W12 is a high-quality weld-on hull anode designed to provide cathodic protection for metal boat hulls in saltwater and freshwater environments. This rectangular zinc anode features cast-in galvanized steel straps that extend from both ends, making it ideal for permanent weld-on or bolt-on installation on steel and aluminum hulls.

  • Cast-in galvanized steel mounting straps run end-to-end through the anode
  • Straps extend approximately 2 inches from each side for welding to hull

This sacrificial anode protects underwater metal components from galvanic corrosion by corroding preferentially to more noble metals like bronze, stainless steel, and aluminum. The W12's substantial size provides extended protection for larger vessels and applications with high corrosion rates. Anodes should be inspected regularly and replaced when depleted to maintain optimal cathodic protection.

Great easy to work with

As long as i recieve the part in a timely fashion this would be rated a five. Site is strange, had truck as vehicle (2000 tundra) and showed no parts, but typed in part # and they came up. Also, did not get 20% coupon code as intro stated.

My first order did not include all parts. I'm ordering a different part number now. The seller is giving me a discount due to this inconvenience. We will see how it goes.

Initially I was somewhat disappointed with this site's turnaround between the purchase and shipping dates (aprox 3 days) on my merchandise.
