Product Details

Epifanes RapidClear is a UV-resistant semi-gloss wood finish based on modified alkyd/urethane resins, offering a quick and easy alternative to conventional varnish. This fast-drying finish provides long-term protection and enhancement for all interior and exterior marine and household woods above the waterline.

Key Features:

  • Bonds extremely well to teak and other oily woods without extensive preparation
  • UV-resistant formula prevents discoloration and emphasizes natural wood grain
  • Quick drying with excellent breathing properties, flexibility, and durability
  • Dry to touch in 4 hours, recoatable in 5 to 6 hours for fast project completion
  • Can be used as a primer coat prior to Epifanes clear varnish and wood finish gloss (sand with 220 grit)
  • Compatible for maintaining intact one and two-component varnish systems regardless of brand

The semi-gloss finish provides a clear, attractive appearance that protects wood while allowing it to breathe naturally. Ideal for marine applications including brightwork, trim, and interior woodwork, as well as household furniture and wooden surfaces.
