Keel Guard 20206 KeelGuard Black 6 ft Keel Protector

The Megaware KeelGuard 20206 is the original, American-made DIY keel protector, engineered to defend your boat's hull against the abrasive damage caused by rocks, concrete ramps, sand, and oyster beds. Protecting the keel is critical — wear and damage can break down the gelcoat finish and allow water to penetrate and destroy the underlying fiberglass laminates. The KeelGuard provides a durable barrier that prolongs the life of your investment.

Developed in collaboration with boat designers and 3M engineers, every aspect of the KeelGuard's patented design is purpose-built for performance and longevity. A precision-blended, abrasion-resistant polymer and urethane composite delivers the ideal balance of toughness and pliability, while angled grooves produce hydrodynamic channels that create air pockets for a slicker, drag-reducing surface.

Key Features:

• Exclusive self-sealing contoured edge — bonds and seals cleanly to the hull surface with no messy sealants required
• Ultra-tough polymer composite — precise blend of polymers and urethanes for optimal durability and pliability
• Hydrodynamic drag reduction design — angled grooves create air pockets for improved performance on the water
• Premium 3M pressure-sensitive adhesive — creates a permanent, high-strength bond to fiberglass hulls
• Made in the USA — engineered with boat designers and 3M engineers
• Lifetime hassle-free warranty — covers abrasive wear and adhesion failure during normal use for as long as you own the boat
• 6-foot length in classic Black finish

Installation is a straightforward DIY process — no professional help or messy sealants needed. The KeelGuard is trusted by professional anglers, recreational boaters, and even Coast Guard fleets worldwide. This 6-foot model (MPN: 20206) is ideal for protecting smaller to mid-size fiberglass boats.
