The Seastar Solutions CCX20522 is a premium 22-foot TFXtreme control cable engineered as a direct replacement for 1979-present BRP/OMC/Johnson/Evinrude outboard engines and OMC side mount controls. This high-performance cable is designed for complex cable runs, long installations, and applications demanding superior throttle and shift control.

Advanced TFXtreme Technology:

  • Patented splined core design provides smooth operation with minimal lost motion
  • 4-inch minimum bend radius versus 8-inch for standard cables, allowing easier routing in tight spaces
  • Oil-tempered lay wires (0.033") deliver superior strength and performance
  • HDPE inner liner is ultra-smooth and lubricated for life

Durable Marine-Grade Construction:

  • Stainless steel terminals and brass fittings provide excellent corrosion resistance
  • Super tough 0.34" HDPE outer jacket withstands UV, salt water, chemicals, gasoline, and oil
  • Moisture protective seals extend service life in harsh marine environments
  • Drop-in replacement that uses existing connection components

This CCX205 series cable replaces OMC 479 premium cables and accepts OMC "snap-in" type cable connections. Ideal for performance boats, bass boats, and demanding applications where precise control is critical. Made in the USA and backed by a 2-year limited warranty.

Autoplicity was great to deal with, it was the shipping company that beat the steel tank holder up so bad, that i had to straighten with a hammer, which knocked off a lot of powder coating. Product still usable though.
