The Samlex STS-30 is a 30 amp automatic transfer switch designed to seamlessly manage power sources in RVs, marine applications, and off-grid systems. This intelligent switching device automatically transitions between two separate AC input sources—such as utility power and generator, utility power and inverter, or generator and inverter—ensuring uninterrupted power to your electrical system.

Key Features:

  • Rated capacity of 30 amps at 120 VAC, suitable for generators up to 3.6 kVA
  • Heavy-duty Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) relay switches both line and neutral for safe, complete circuit isolation
  • Flexible installation options: line side of main breaker panel for whole-system switching or load side for dedicated circuits only
  • DIP switch selectable time delay of 20-25 seconds when transferring to generator, preventing surge damage
  • Includes standard North American power cord for connection to 15 amp NEMA 5-15R receptacles on generators or inverters up to 1800 VA (upgradeable to 30 amp cord for full capacity)
  • Built-in NEMA 5-20R duplex receptacle provides convenient connection point for battery chargers

The STS-30 eliminates the need for manual switching between power sources, automatically prioritizing shore power when available and seamlessly transferring to backup power when disconnected. Ideal for RV enthusiasts, boaters, and anyone requiring reliable automatic power management.

Bought an adjustable proportioning valve. Autoplicity was the cheepest source by several dollars. Haven't got it yet, but I did get an e-mail with-in 24 hours that stated that it had been shipped. As long as I get what I've ordered I would say that they are worth giving a shot.

Autoplicity had the best price on an ARB locker. They shipped it quickly but was not able to give me the tracking number until after I had already received it.

Excellent business. This is my second purchase and there will be more! I ordered my parts over the holiday weekend and they mailed them the Tuesday after Labor Day. The absolute BEST pricing you will get. You will not find a lower price else ware. The shipping doesn't even take forever like most places you get great pricing.
