Determining the Correct Cable Length: The easiest way to identify the correct replacement cable is to read the length and part number printed on your existing cable. Alternatively, measure the unobstructed cable route from the control to the engine throttle/shift attachment point. For outboard installations, add 18 inches to your measurement.
