Megaware KeelGuard 20904 4ft Blue Boat Keel Protector

The Megaware KeelGuard 20904 is a 4-foot, blue boat keel protector engineered to defend your hull's keel against the abrasion and impact damage that comes from beaching, launching, and everyday use. Damage to your keel can break down the protective gelcoat finish, allowing moisture to penetrate and destroy the fiberglass laminates beneath — the KeelGuard is designed to stop that from happening.

Key Features:

• Abrasion-resistant construction — made from a precision-blended polymer and urethane composite that delivers optimal durability and pliability
• 3M pressure-sensitive adhesive — permanently bonds and seals the KeelGuard's contoured edges directly to the hull surface for a lasting, watertight fit
• Hydrodynamic drag reduction channels — angled grooves create air pockets along the keel surface, minimizing drag so your boat's speed and performance are unaffected
• UV-stabilized blue finish — colorfast formula resists fading from sun and saltwater exposure
• DIY installation — complete install kit included with 3M primer, Scotch-Brite pad, and burnishing tool; no special tools required
• 4-foot length — recommended for boats up to 14 feet in length
• 5-inch width — contoured profile fits standard V-shaped fiberglass keels
• Made in USA

The Megaware KeelGuard protects against abrasive sand, rocks, concrete boat ramps, and oyster beds — eliminating costly repairs and helping preserve the resale value of your vessel. It is backed by a lifetime warranty against abrasive wear and adhesion failure for the original purchaser.

Note: Not recommended for boats where the full weight rests on keel rollers or a center support beam during trailering. Not suitable for most catamarans, pontoon tubes, personal watercraft, kayaks, canoes, or boats with non-standard V-shaped keels. Some aluminum boat compatibility restrictions apply.
