Megaware KeelGuard 20209 9ft Black Boat Keel Protector

The Megaware KeelGuard 20209 is a 9-foot, do-it-yourself keel protector designed to shield your boat's hull from the abrasive damage caused by sand, rocks, concrete ramps, and oyster beds. Damage to the keel breaks down the protective gelcoat finish, allowing moisture to penetrate and destroy the underlying fiberglass laminates — the KeelGuard stops that damage before it starts.

Engineered in collaboration with boat designers and 3M® engineers, the KeelGuard is constructed from a durable, abrasion-resistant blend of polymers and urethanes that delivers optimal toughness and flexibility. A 3M pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive permanently bonds and seals the guard's contoured edges directly to the hull surface, eliminating the need for messy sealants or fasteners.

Key Features:

• 9-foot length in Black — UV-stabilized color that won't fade over time
• Abrasion-resistant polymer and urethane composite construction
• 3M pressure-sensitive adhesive for a permanent, watertight bond
• Angled hydrodynamic grooves create air pockets for a slicker surface with no performance penalty
• Contoured edges conform to hull shape for a clean, flush fit
• Includes all necessary tools and materials for DIY installation
• Patented design developed with boat designers and 3M engineers
• Lifetime warranty against abrasive wear and adhesion failure for the original purchaser

Installation Note: Not recommended for trailers where the full weight of the boat rests on rollers or a support beam along the keel. Side bunks should be raised to clear rollers to avoid compromising the adhesive bond. May not be suitable for aluminum boats with a reinforced rib design.

The Megaware KeelGuard is the trusted choice for boaters who want a proven, long-lasting solution for keel protection. UPC: 672057202098.
