Abrasion from sand, rocks, concrete ramps, and oyster beds can wear through your boat's gelcoat finish, allowing water to penetrate and damage the underlying fiberglass laminates — the KeelGuard stops that damage before it starts.

Installation: No special tools required. Etch the keel surface with the included Scotch-Brite pad, clean with isopropyl alcohol, apply the 3M primer, then use the burnishing tool to firmly bond the KeelGuard to the hull.
Important Notes: Not recommended for boats whose full weight rests on center keel rollers or a support beam along the keel while trailering. Not suitable for aluminum boats with reinforced rib design, pontoons, catamarans, personal watercraft, or boats with a non-standard V-shaped keel.
