Everything on the front end looked good, good price, discount on shipping, website easy to order from.
However, after that it went down hill.
I ordered the product, requested and ostensibly paid for UPS 2nd Day Air Shipping as I needed the product in a hurry.
The shipping confirmation listed the shipper as "Unknown" and the tracking number wasn't a valid UPS tracking number. The I received an email that I hadn't completed my order and it requested that I return to my cart to finish it. The link in their email brought me to an empty cart.
So I called customer service and eventually spoke with a representative that was just as confused as to why I had received the email as my order had already shipped. I requested verification of the shipping company and tracking number. I was told she would email that to me. I have yet to receive that email.
The date for 2nd day delivery (a Friday) arrived and NO PACKAGE
I waited until Monday and NO PACKAGE.
I called customer service, NO ANSWER.
On Tuesday, through blind luck, I figured out that the tracking number was a Fed Ex number.
I then discovered that 2nd Day Air package had been shipped Fed Ex ground, but not regular Fed Ex ground.
Instead my package passed through my town (on the Friday it should have been delivered) only to be taken to a city 135 east of my town where it was then turned over to the Post Office for delivery. This added 5 days to the delivery time.
I was charged $28.40 for shipping. I was given a $20 discount on the shipping charges for being a new customer. So I effectively paid $8.40 for shipping. Regular ground shipping was $6 and change.
Anyway I look at it I feel ripped off on the shipping.
Autoplicity FAILED to ship it in the manner contracted for, 2nd Day Air.
Autoplicity FAILED to provide me with the shipper's information.
Autoplicity FAILED to deliver the product in a timely fashion.
In an attempt to save $15, I ordered this product from Autoplicity, BIG MISTAKE ON MY PART.
At this time I deeply regret not ordering this from Summit Racing.com
