How It Works:

This fuel level gauge operates by sending low amperage current through the meter to ground via a variable resistance sending unit. As fuel levels change, the sender's resistance varies accordingly, allowing different amounts of current to flow through to ground. The meter deflects proportionally to display accurate fuel levels at a glance.
